This tutorial shows how to install XCode by downloading it through Web Browser.
This is much more reliable then Installing XCode using App Store (App Store can't resume interrupted downloads).
This approach will not override or update your existing installation so you can have multiple versions of XCode installed.
With this approach you can't later installed version. Instead you have to separately download new version.
You download XIP file (like Xcode_11.6.xip) inside Download directory.
This archive is then extracted as XCode Application in the same Download directory.
So rename it from XCode to specific version (like XCode 11.6).
Leave it inside Download directory or move it to Applications Folder.
This approach allows you to select (App Store allows you to only install or update to latest version)
● Beta to install current Beta version
● Release to install current Release version
● More to install any Beta or Release version (including the older versions)
